League Local News - League Members on Maui League members on Maui are involved in organizing a Candidates' Forum as the opening event of the 10th annual Maui County Women's Conference on Friday, October 17 at the Maui Community College. All candidates for Governor, Lt. Governor, State Senate and House have been invited. Of course, only those who survive the Primary will be on the program, but all are encouraged to come. In addition, the candidates have been asked to respond in writing to three questions. These answers will be given to the Maui News for publication. The answers of the candidates in the General Election will be distributed at the Forum.
