Announcing... We are happy to announce that Dr. Mary Anne Raywid is here and was the guest of honor at a reception held on January 20 at the AAUW residence. She has already received many requests to speak to individuals and groups, and we are delighted that her stay promises to be so productive. The members of the 1989 Budget Committee are Lois Evora. Fay Hill, Vicki Zaleski, and Anne Lee. Please call Anne (Oahu 395-0115) with your ideas for the State League's 1989-1990 budget. The members of the Nominating Committee are Dee Lum (chair), Marian Hatton. Jean Aoki, Carole Westby, and Kiyoko Nitz. Please call Dee (949-6716) with your nominees for the state board. The state board was very sorry to accept the resignation by Susan Brimo-Cox as secretary. We wish her well in her upcoming move to the mainland. Carol Whitesell and Evelyn Bender have kindly agreed to share the secretarial duties for the time being.
