Note from Nebraska

RUTH SNYDER writes from the north country that the Lincoln League is "supervising polling sites and verifying ballot results for the Nebraska Sr. Citizens Council. The Bd of Directors voted in favor of supplying this expertise for a fee."

Ruth has volunteered to help -- her "first venture back into activity," she says. It wouldn't surprise us in the least if Ruth ends up expanding and coordinating Lincoln League's elections activities. After all, it was Ruth who was instrumental in putting together our vote count manual.

By the way, exposure in the National VOTER has resulted in more requests. We have sold 25, so far, to various LWVs around the country.
