State Board Welcomes a New DirectorMARION SAUNDERS joins the Board of the League of Women Voters of Hawaii as Voters Service Chairman. No stranger to the League Marion was in on the ground floor of organization in Honolulu in 1947. She assisted in formation of the State League as a representative of the National Board. To list all of her accomplishments for the League (both on and off the Board) would require a Voter "supplement." She has been invited to represent Hawaii on the planning committee for the 50th Anniversary observance of the LWV, and as such will attend the National Convention. Marion's husband, Dr. Allan R. Saunders, is a retired professor of Political Science (and a staunch League friend!)
