Big Island Hosts State Council Meeting The Hawai'i County League will host the State Council meeting on Saturday, May 20.2000. All LWV members are encouraged to attend. Here is information on the Council Meeting: PLACE: King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel Kailua-Kona For reservations 1-800-367-6060 COST: $15.00 per person. Includes use of conference room and lunch. Board Meeting starts 9:00 a.m. Lunch 11:30 to 1:00 Workshops 1:00 to 3:00 - ALL OPEN TO LWV MEMBERS SPECIAL GUEST: Kay Maxwell, LWV National Liaison For those who wish to come early on Friday and stay at the Hotel, ask for Kamaaina rates.
