Interested in Protecting our Natural Resources?State League Natural Resources Chair, Kiyoko Nitz, welcomes active participation in natural resource issues by League members from all islands. Nationally the League has broad positions on Water, Air, Waste Management, Land Use, and Energy. At the state level, the League has also studied and reached positions on natural resources issues of particular concern locally, namely, Land Use, Solid Waste, and Energy. There is lots to be done, such as monitoring local concerns and following bills during the legislative session if your time permits.
