IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE. THERE IS A LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS in Honolulu and Hawaii. It does make a difference that you are a member of the League; that you help make the League program. During January and February you have a chance to make a difference in planning your League's state and local program. At the January 23, 24, 25 units you can: LEARN.... Who's Who and What's what in State Government .... How the League of Women Voters has made a difference in Hawaii MAKE A DIFFERENCE.... Determine the future state League program During the last two years the Hawaii League of Women Voters program has concentrated on the following areas: Land use; schools; campaign finances; ethics; and election laws. The League has made a difference! Where can and should the League make a difference in the next few years? In the returned coupons, League members have suggested that the new League program include the following areas: State finances, State planning policy, Housing, Transportation , Health, Ecological problems, Schools, Population pressure, and possible immigration laws Obviously, even the League of Women Voters program cannot do justice to all these important areas in the next two years. We - and YOU - must choose. Where can and should our League MAKE A DIFFERENCE? How can we focus our study and action to achieve the results ee want in our state?
