League of Women Voters Education Fund, Inc. From our national office comes this message: "The League of Women Voters Education Fund is now set up through the generosity of eleven founders who have contributed sufficient funds for a year's trial." To qualify as a tax-exempt educational arm, the Fund will have to have a project. A three-year project has been planned, "The Dormant Citizen". During the first year research will be carried on to discover why citizens are dormant and conferences of experts will be held. The second and third years materials would be used to arouse the citizens by means of controlled experiments to see whether the dormant citizen can be aroused, and if so how best to do it.
