PLCO-Hawaii Still Recruiting

If you are between 55 and 74 and due for a check-up, the National Cancer Institute's PLCO-Hawaii program would like to hear from you. PLCOHawaii is part of a massive, nationwide research effort. This current PLCO (Prostate, Lung, Colorectal & Ovarian Cancer Screening Trial) project has 8,600 volunteers and needs another 14,00 participants. It involves a free exam (for colorectal, a colonoscopy and a chest X-ray; for ovarian, a pap smear) and answering a lot of questions. If you are in need of a check-up, why not help the research cause at the same time? The results will be forwarded to your private physician.
