Membership MeetingAt our last scheduled meeting until September, Mr. Shelley M. Mark, Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Hawaii, will speak to the membership on "American Commercial Policy and the World Dollar Problem". Save the date: Wednesday, June 16. 7:30 P.M. YWCA. Mr. Mark, who teaches a course in International Trade, will examine the postwar international economic background which has led to a "world dollar problem". He will give particular emphasis to the report of the Randall Commission and its recommendations as to how American foreign policy might be formulated so as to meet this problem of the world dollar shortage as it comes up in the future. In this connection, he will discuss the implications of the renewal of the Reciprocal Trade Agreements Act, scheduled to come up before Congress this month.
