Voters Service Views Election time comes around again this fall and the Voters Service Committee will see lots of action in its job of informing the public, It can also use lots of help, so call Mrs. J.R. Smith, 97-193 if you want to work on an exciting nonpartisan campaign,. Meanwhile, how many members have actually visited the regular meetings of the Board of Supervisors or the meetings of the Finance or Public Works Committees? Members of the Voters Service Committee are attending regularly and would be happy to take any League members and friends Visits to these meetings furnish an opportunity to see elected officials at work. Regular Board meetings are held every Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. The Finance Committee meets every Friday at 10:00 A.M. to deliberate on public expenditures for schools, parks, playgrounds, health, police and fire protection. The Public Works Committee also meets on Friday at 2:00 P.M. to discuss highways, sewers, garbage, water, and traffic, Call Mrs. Smith and arrange to see for yourself.
