Treaties and the Bricker Amendment to Be Discussed by Dr. Stauffer Mrs. Perry Phillipp, chairman of the National Agenda Item emphasizing International Economic development is in charge of the program. Dr. Robert Stauffer from the Department of Government at the University of Hawaii will speak on the legal and governmental aspects of treaties which will help us to understand better the pros and cons of the Bricker Amendment. The National Voter for March 1, 1953, deals with the Bricker Amendment which would limit the scope of the Government's power to conclude treaties and Executive agreements. As we may receive a Call for Action from National when the amendment is reported out of Committee, let's give it some thought.
