Opinion on Poll Results

Apparently one of the areas in which we as a young local League need to grow is in expressing our individual and collective opinion. Of almost 100 questionnaires sent to members there were only 14 replies on the controversial question of Federal Aid to Education.

For the record,　here is a summary of them:

  1. Do we still favor fed. aid? 14, Yes.

  2. if so...shall we continue active legislative support...? 14, Yes.

  3. ...Do we want to insist that all of our standards of the past be met in any bill we support? 13, Yes.

  4. Do we still think these standards are wise? 13, Yes.

  5. Are we willing to make compromises? Yes, 2; No, 9; ?, 2.

  6. No reply.
