ProgramGREETINGS! It's Program Planning time again (everybody's favorite), and your input is needed. Please take the time to fill out this form and help plan your League Year 1975-76. The Honolulu League currently has two broad based program items. These and two other items are listed below--if you have an additional suggestion include it. Please indicate whether you feel we should drop or retain/add an item and whether you would like to give some time to the project. This is not a trap--just an attempt to measure our ability to carry the load. Retain Drop Add I'd Like to Help ACTION to encourage the informed and active participation of all citizens in government and politics. The action will be in keeping with the League purpose and positions reached under planning, schools, land use, housing and charter. This includes transportation, particularly under air quality. (Current item) PLANNING continued study of the planning process at the county level focusing on county-state interrelations, organization, capital budgeting, zoning, the General Plan and the General Plan Revision Program. (Current item) Schools Study--problems of citizen input into the educational system, and school-parent relationships. Growth Study--study of the complicated problems of growth on Oahu. Should we Call a halt to development, encourage "managed" growth, or bock unlimited growth as beneficial to economic development? Other Do you type? do art work? know how to run a mimeograph machine?
