Robert Dodge to Speak at General MeetingLeague members will learn about the philosophy of the Charter Commission and why the Charter was written as it is. Mr. Robert Dodge was a member of the Commission and worked diligently to bring Honolulu its first City Charter. Local Agenda Committee members will present results of the charter study to date at the unit meetings preceding this General Meeting. (Background material for unit discussion is enclosed with this Aloha Voter. You, the members, asked for a study of the City Charter at our last Annual Meeting -- "We need to know how our City Government is organized and how it operates". The November meetings are for that purpose -- be there (at your unit and at the General meeting) and bring a friend. Dates, times, and places are listed above in the calendar.
