A Very Special Event "Form, Design, and the City" -- this is the title of sound-color motion picture film to be viewed by all Leaguers and their friends on Thursday evening, November 8th. This film, made available by the Oahu Development Conference, outlines the development of a Master Plan and recreates Philadelphia's "Center City" development. It runs for 57 minutes and is based on the presentation made by the Philadelphia Planning Commission Staff to the 1961 convention of the American Institute of Architects. Mr. Aaron Levine, executive director of the ODC, will also be on hand to clarify and answer and questions. This is a "must" meeting for all League members who want to keep abreast with our local agenda item.
