Council is ComingMark your calendars for May 14 & 15. These are the dates for the League of Women Voters of Hawai'i Council. Held every two years, on off- Convention years, delegates to council give guidance to the state board on program, methods of work, and budget as submitted by the state board. Council members are the presidents of the local Leagues, one delegate chosen by each local League, and the state board. Any member is welcome to attend, however, and in fact, all are encouraged to be a part of the meeting. Member input to program should be sent to the state board two months in advance of council (early March for board discussion).
