Report - Pat ShuttThere is a lot happening at 1730 M Street, the League's national office. I recently flew off for the Program Planning Committee meeting and while I was there the Agriculture committee was in town refining the consensus. questions for our Agriculture Study; former ERA ratification chairs were there to help review our forthcoming league history of the ERA campaign; and, in addition, some former national board members who have volunteered to help with the Planned Giving Program were discussing their plans. All that in the space of a week! It provided a wonderful opportunity to talk with former board members about their view of the league then and now. We are indeed fortunate to have the dedication and commitment of past and present leaders and the professional staff to keep the league moving forward into the 21st Century. Pat Shutt |
