December SocialAbout 40 League members and their guests attended the December 13 reception for our Congressmen. Congressman Daniel Inouye was our only "honest-to-goodness" honored guest. Senator Fong, who was in the hospital, was represented by his aide, Kenneth Nakamura. Senator Long unexplainably did not show up. We learned a great deal on how we can improve similar events, and we hope that when this time comes around next year, all members will come forth with any suggestions they might have. I think this has been a good start and hope it turns out to be an annual event.
