Scholarship Contestants Sought The $200 LWV Scholarship will be awarded at the Kauai County annual meeting in April 2007 The LWV of Kauai County is inviting students from Kauai Community College to compete for a $200 scholarship. Any student currently enrolled in higher education is eligible. Political Science Professor Joyce Nakahara at KCC has been very helpful over the years with the selection process. Students are asked to provide a 1-page (300 words) answer to the question: How can citizens best participate in their government decision making process?
