General Plan Position in Review At the 2006 annual meeting, it was agreed that the Kaua`i LWV will review the following position during prior to the 2007 annual meeting. The current position states: I. Kaua`i General Plan – Uphold the integrity of the General Plan as a comprehensive land-use policy document whose intent should not be bypassed with the use of a special-use interest permit process. The update was recommended by LWV member, JoAnn Yukimura. The Kauai General Plan was last updated in 2000, but the League has yet to update its position. Your timely input is welcome.
