Judicial Council Seeking Panelists for Campaign Spending Commission The Judicial Council is required by law to replenish the list of panelists from which the governor selects members of the Campaign Spending Commission when the number of panelists falls below five. There are now four panelists. The council needs six names to complete the panel. The council has been seeking applications for four months and has sent out public requests through news releases and advertisements. To date, only three people have applied. The primary duty of the Campaign Spending Commission is to supervise campaign contributions and expenditures. Application forms are available at the league office.
