What We're Doing Around the StateMAUI LEAGUE GAINS PROVISIONAL STATUSOn April 8th, members of the Maui League will take the final steps toward provisional status when they vote for a board of directors and compile a roster of dues-paying members. On hand for the big event, which will take place at 4 p.m. in the Kahului Library, will be Lt. Gov. Jean King, LWV/Hi pres. Rhoda Miller, Honolulu pres. Barbara Farwell, Kauai pres. Margaret Littmann and husband Sidney (Kauai treas.), and state board member Cathy Filson from Hilo. Taking their lead from the excellent pubs written by Kauai and Hilo, the Maui League will undertake a Know Your County study and publication.
