State Convention - 1975 State Program and Budget State Board 1975-77 Council Capsule Leg Log - Interim News Look Ahead to 1976 Scoreboard

Scoreboard OPEN MEETINGS - passed/signed; executive sessions limited to personnel matters, attorney-client discussions, Legislative branch exempted and will adopt own rules. LOBBY REGISTRATION - passed/signed. LAND USE COMMISSION - passed/signed; now contested case hearings will limit public participation. Reconstituted as a quasi-judicial branch as defined by Administrative Procedures Act (Hawaii Revised Statutes in libraries). PLANNING POLICY - passed; state mill have a general plan by 1977 and interim reporting to the Legislature by 1976. VOTER EDUCATION - passed; a unit in the social studies curriculum to be developed and implemented. Published four times a year by the League of Women Voters of Hawaii.
