One state legislator remarked that if he depended on hearing from his constituents on how to vote, he would never vote on any bill because in 4 years of office holding, he had heard from his constituents 6 times:: FLASH: The bills have passed in both houses in favor of the 18 year old vote. This means that in 1972 there will be on the ballot a proposed Constitutional Amendment to lower the voting age to 18 years from the present age of 20 years in the Constitution.
