Alana Bowman to Speak at League Brown Bag LunchOn Friday August 24th at noontime the League invites you to a brown bag lunch to welcome Alana back. This brown bag lunch will be held in the conference room of the Hawaii Community Foundation located at Pioneer Plaza, 900 Fort Street Mall, Suite 1300. This will be her third visit with us. Alana, the L.A. City Deputy Attorney an expert in the field of domestic violence serves on the National Advisory Council on Violence Against Women. She will tell us about the Council efforts on the 2nd Violence Against Women Act and the Changing Social Norms and Attitudes Task Force she chairs. She recently completed a new domestic violence police-training curriculum that she is currently implementing. All League members and friends are cordially invited.
