"The Next Millennium Conference
Ending Domestic Violence"
We have received an announcement for a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services national conference on domestic violence to be held in Rosemont, Illinois on August 29 to September I,1999. It will be an historic and unprecedented event that brings together battered women's advocates and their allies from across the country to celebrate the movement's accomplishments and recommit to the work that lies ahead. The biggest and most important event to address domestic violence in many years, the Conference will offer six workshop tracks: Prevention; Intervention; Economic and Social Justice; Youth; Research and Underserved Communities.
