In MemoriamJane Gibson Likert a longtime L WV member in Michigan and in Hawaii died on Nov. 29, 1997. She was President of the LWV of Michigan and served on the National Board where she served as vice-president and Finance Director. To counteract the excesses of the McCarthy hearings, the National Board travelled the country discussing the Bill of Rights and often being pelted with eggs and rotten vegetables.
