State Convention

Governor Ben Cayetano will be the luncheon speaker at the State LWV Convention scheduled for May 31 at the Pagoda Hotel's East Room.

Besides the election of officers and board members the budget ant program for the 1997-98 biennium bill be discussed and adopted.

Honolulu League is entitled to 17 delegates. and anyone interested in attending as a delegate should contact the office immediately. A caucus of league delegates will be held at the League office prior to the convention. For those who do not care to be delegates but would like to attend the luncheon to participate in a dialogue with our governor, the luncheon cost will be $20.00. Call the office and leave your name.
