Planning & Zoning UpdatePost Office Development Word from Donna Kim is that the Mayor's office informed the developer of the King Street Post Office redevelopment project that local regulations would have to be followed despite the fact that the land was owned by the U.S. government. It also seems that the 65-year lease of the property has not yet been finalized despite claims that construction would start last month. "People Mover" The bill to do a feasibility study and construct a privately funded "people mover" mini-rail system failed to survive this legislative session.
