Debates '96League will conduct debates for the mayor's and prosecutor's races, sponsored by KHNL TV-8 and KFVE TV-5. Negotiations are presently underway with the League's Elections Committee and the News Director and Executive Producer of KHNL. Past president Helen Kim Griffin will chair the League's Elections Committee. It is anticipated that the debates will be held toward the end of October. Follow the news reports in the dailies for specific information on dates etc.
