Orientation MeetingNew and prospective members will be exposed to what the League of Women Voters is all about at the orientation meeting g to be held on Saturday, January 20, at 9am at the League Office. A 15-minute National membership video depicting what it means to be a Leaguer will be shown, and Chairs of some of our State and Honolulu committees will briefly discuss the programs and plans for the year. Grace Furukawa, Chair of the Membership Recruitment Committee has sent invitations to all the new and prospective members. Any interested League member is invited to join in our discussion. Those attending will be encouraged to raise questions and to comment on what they perceive as League's role in our community. Contact Grace at 988-3532, if you have any questions about the meeting.
