Appointment to State Board

Representatives of the three local Leagues were seated on the State League Board of Directors at its first quarterly meeting on July 15 held at the League office.

Teresa Nakama, Co-President of Hawaii County League will be alternating with the other Co-President, Helene Hale, to represent their local. Andy Parks has been designated by Kauai League President, Althea McCleery, to represent Kauai, and Jean Aoki, Vice-President of Honolulu League was appointed by Honolulu League President, Suzanne Meisenzahl, to represent their local.

Pearl Johnson was appointed by President Jackie Kido to a two-year term as secretary and Marion Saunders was appointed to serve as a director for a two-year term. Marion will be serving as Education Committee chair.
