AVAILABLE FOR DISTRIBUTION Voicing Your Choice: A Guide to Citizen Participation in Health Reform While this pamphlet was written to guide citizens in getting their voices heard in Congress on health reform, it can serve as a guide to citizen participation on any issue before that body. This is a comprehensive guide. It discusses the steps bills go through - the committees, the hearings, etc. It tells you whom to contact and when, about the regulatory agencies and their roles in shaping the regulations, effective communication with Congressmen and the executive offices, the do's and don't's in writing letters to government officials and much more. Also included are all the names and telephone numbers of all the Senators and Representatives and the members of the committees involved in working on healthcare legislation. We have a number of these pamphlets, and anyone interested may pick one up at our office at 49 South Hotel street, Room 314.
