Hawaii's InfostructureState of the Art or Two Tin Cans and String?Candidates for the Office of Governor, State of Hawaii, have been invited to participate in a major public forum to share their vision and goals for the State of Hawaii in the Information Age. The Forum will be held at Mabel Smyth Auditorium on July 25th from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. The capacity of the auditorium is 250 and seating will be on a first come first served basis. The moderator will be Pat Shutt, a past president of the League of Women Voters, Hawaii; past Director League of Women Voters, U.S. Questions will focus on how education, economic development, health care, and other aspects of our lives will be affected by advances in telecommunications and information technology. A forum for Mayoral Candidates, C & C of Honolulu, on Hawaii's information infrastructure is also scheduled for Tuesday, August 9, 1994, at 6:00 PM at the same location.
