Council 1993 - Washington D.C. Council '93 which will be attended by presidents of state leagues, Inter-League Organizations, capital city leagues and big city leagues, will be held June 5-8 at the Madison Hotel in Washington, DC. Council business will be conducted during 3 plenary sessions beginning June 5 at 5:30 p.m. and concluding Monday, June 7 at 5:00 p.m. Three workshops led by outside professionals are scheduled for participants -- Vision: the Leadership Advantage; Health Care III; The Care and Feeding of Local Leagues; and Burnout ... Banished Forever. Other special workshops are planned to focus on the varied needs of all council participants. Also included in Council '93 will be diversity training for all attendees to help further League's commitment to seeking diversity in membership and programs.
