the master's degree and certificate programs designed to increase leadership in public service in Hawai'i and the Pacific.
Masters Degree Program
This is a thirty credit degree which balances skills and perspective learning, focuses on organizational and policy issues in Hawai'i and the Pacific region, and emphasizes the development of lasting professional associations. Requirements include completion of a core year, an individuated concentration, a practicum experience, and a capstone emphasizing group analysis of a significant public issue. Some openings are available to individuals wishing to enter public service.
Application deadline is March 1, 1992.
Certificate Program
This one-year program is designed for individuals who have been in public service and now seek a challenging and motivating educational experience, but are not interested in a graduate degree.
