Help Wanted! State Capitol Public RoomA room for public use at the State Capitol is expected to be ready around March 1. It will have a computer terminal, copy machine, typewriters and public telephones. Volunteers are needed to staff the room from 8 to 6, Mondays through Fridays and 8 to noon on Saturdays. A commitment to a 4-hr. shift is needed for the duration of the Legislative session. Volunteers will aid the public in obtaining information from the computer and assist in other tasks as needed. Orientation on the new computer access program and legislative procedures, etc. will be provided. Call Evelyn Bender (737-2524) or League office (531-7448) if you can volunteer. Personal computer owners may pick-up information on the new computer access program at the League office.
