In MemoriamOld-time League members and friends will be saddened to hear that BETTY L. ANDERSON died on November 7th at the age of 87. She was active in League for many years and held the office of Treasurer in the mid-70s. Betty was a retired Associate Professor at the University of Hawaii in the School of Social Work, moved to Honolulu from Iowa in the early 40s, and was widowed for approximately 20 years. Besides League, she was also an active supporter of the Waikiki Neighborhood Board, the YWCA and the Memorial Society of Hawaii.
