"The LWV Presents---"

League's TV producer, Katie Loew announces that "Improving Citizen Access to the Legislative Process" is the topic of the August broadcast every Monday evening on Oceanic TV Channel 20.

Panelists are Patsy Mink, President of "The Public Reporter, Representative Carol Fukunaga, and State League Vice-president Evelyn Bender, all eminently qualified to address this very important issue. Moderator Karen Ahn keeps the discussion well-paced.

Leaguers are encouraged to watch this informative program and tell their friends about it.

The September program is on Mandatory Sentencing and includes as panelists: Addison Bowman, UH law professor; Michael Levine, Federal Public Defender; and Greg Modafferi, City Deputy Prosecutor in charge of Felony Narcotics. The program will be moderated by Karen Ahn.
