General Membership MeetingThe Laulima Room on the 2nd floor of the Hale Koa Hotel will be the site of League's General Membership meeting on The Right of Women to Make Reproductive Choices" on Saturday, September 9. Registration will begin at 8:30, breakfast at 8:45 and the program at 9:30. The speakers on the panel are: AH QUON McELRATH, of the Committee on Welfare Concerns; REVEREND SAMUEL COX, Director of Hale Kipa Emergency Youth Shelters; DOCTOR BARBARA J. WARKUS, Obstetrician and Gynecologist; PATSY MINK of Americans for Democratic Action and REVEREND PAM VESSELS, of Community Health Outreach, Waikiki Health Center. Twenty one organizations have been invited to send representatives to join us and participate in the discussion and the call to action. Vie want to see a large core group of Leaguers at the meeting. The topic is timely and the speakers representing a variety of professions, which should result in an interesting meeting. For those who have not yet sent in a reservation, a form is available below. The change in the price of breakfast to $8 is due to our receipt of the new menu with the Hale Koa's current price list after the July Voter was mailed out.
