Transportation Committee New League member Len Moffitt, and a visiting League member from Seattle both attended the July meeting. Mildred Walston reported on past OMPO and Council meetings. She shared the synopsis of DTS's presentation at OMPO with the committee members. We will use this, along with member's questions, as we prepare a fall transportation committee meeting with DTS staff. Members will be reading and reporting on several US DOT publications at our August 23rd meeting to be held at noon in the League office. DeeDee Letts is helping draft a letter to the editor regarding use of the Hotel-Richards St. site. Camille Butler will be the League's person on the Hawaii State Helicopter System Planning Advisory Committee. It will meet from August through November.
