League's 40th AnniversaryA gala celebration was held and enjoyed by many League members at Joyce Esposito's home on February 20. Among the celebrants were Councilwoman Marilyn Bornhorst who February 10, was responsible for the City Council resolution honoring League's anniversary and Alan Saunders who helped make it all possible, Senator Mary Jane McMurdo who introduced an honorary resolution in the Senate on February 12 and representative Samuel Lee who did the honors with representative Virginia Isbell in the House chambers. We were happy to see many new faces who joined recently and familiar faces who rejoined. We missed all of you who were unable to attend.
