 July first marked the date for the start of our former member campaign. Under the eye-catching Logo designed for the "former member" campaign, letters were mailed out to league members who for one reason or another have not been active in the recent past. These members were asked to rejoin the League under a guilt-free membership which assures that they will receive the Voter and other mailings of the League in exchange for payment of League dues. If you know a former member who received the "guilt-free" member-ship letter, tell them to join those who are saying "YES" to League! Pat Shutt drafted the letter, Laura Goo was in charge of formatting and production, and Dorothy Bremner and Carol Whitesell joined them in adding a personal message before Arlene Ellis and Dee Lum signed and sealed the envelopes. Thanks to all of the above. We will keep you posted on those who have accepted this invitation. Flash! Joan Yim has the honor of being the first respondent to our former member mailout.
