President's Message

At this time of year everyone seems to be out to lunch, out of town, or going out of town soon. Those of us who just got back, or those who are stuck at home must hold the fort and keep things moving.

The League office is undergoing a long-needed face-lift. The addition of a conference room was the impetus toward renovating the existing quarters. The old "all-purpose" room is going to be repainted by the League's "brush brigade" and converted into a workroom for committees, Voter crews, etc.

The installation of new carpets gives us the necessary excuse to rearrange the furniture. Input from all you closet interior decorators are welcome, and we look forward to suggestions and help from all the "stay-at-homers". So, don't hide your light under a bushel, call or just Put on your jeans and come on over and pitch in.
