Nominees for '87 - '88Treasurer - Nadine Taylor is new to League but not new to finance; she retired recently as a CPA. Nadine has worked for several CPA firms spending the last 13 years with Oceanic Institute where she served as comptroller. Until now, tallying for League's vote count tasks has been Nadine's major input for League. The Lanikai-Kailua Outdoor Circle claims some of this "retired" person's time. Board of Directors - Jean Aoki, Jo Judy and Robert Harrington Jean Aoki was the past Vice President of Honolulu League and has served on the Board for two previous terms. She has been Aloha Voter editor and community relations / publications chair. She has also chaired Voter Registration and served on the '86-'87 Nominating Committee. You name the committee, Jean worked on it. Her current League activity is the dual role of chairing the Honolulu committee for the state study on election laws and for the national survey on human needs. Jo Judy currently works as a legal researcher in the Lieutenant Governor's office. Jo's varied career includes a masters degree in urban studies with a focus on planning and statistics, a law degree from Lewis & Clark and a position in Hawaii's State Attorney General's office. Although a new League member, Jo jumped in with vote counting and is currently the Aloha. Voter editor. Robert Harrington, Lt. Col. USAF Retired, transferred to the Honolulu League from the Santa Rosa League. Before his move to Hawaii, Bob was in the service, a teacher and a real estate agent. He brings a sense of commitment to this "women's" organization and is currently a member of the state education committee.
