Community TVCTVPA met March 10th in the McCully library. Two working committees were added to help members achieve the aims of the organization: work with Oceanic and help each other. The committees are Production logistics and Program activities. The Board will meet later this month to get both committees started and to continue refining the organization. Hap Freund reported for the Legislative committee on the work of that committee--support of a Department of Consumer Affairs bill which will require cablevision franchisers to set aside money for public access use and other issues. League members who would like to work on any of the three working committees are encouraged to do so.
