State Convention

WHEN: May 30 & 31

WHERE: Ala Moana Americana Hotel

WHO: Each local league is entitled to one delegate for each 15 members as of January 1, 1987. Based on our records, the count for Convention 1987 will be:

Hawaii 2 delegates + president

Honolulu 16 delegates + president

Kauai 2 delegates + president State Board 10 delegates

Ed. Fund 1 delegate

WHY: Adopt State Program for 1987-1989; Adopt State Budget for 1987-1989; Elect State officers and board members; Hear interesting speakers; Meet new and old friends; Have a great time!

COST: $30 (includes registration, dinner, and workbook)

WHAT'S PLANNED: Bart Fredo moderating a panel of representatives from the media addressing how the media operate; An exciting media person presenting a dinner speech; a Sunday preview of the Bicentennial public service announcements to be aired on Channel 2; and, of course, stimulating business sessions.
