MBHN StudyPhase one of the Meeting Basic Human needs study is progressing well with eleven leaguers gathering information for a community profile to be sent to Washington headquarters by March 31. Phase one consists of compiling (a) demographic data of our county, (b) availability of service and program participation, (c) interviews with service providers, and (d) case studies. Committee members are Jean Aoki, Chair, Joan Davenport, Yvonne Kearns, James Koshi, Ah Jook Ku, Edith Kutner, Betty Rogers, Adeline Shutz, Mary Frances Sutphen, Norma Vick and Beth Weisberger. Evelyn Bender, State coordinator is in the process of gathering information for the state profile. This is a two-year study and phase two should begin in April.
