A Transportation Question The Cable Car Rebuilding Program in San Francisco was partially funded by private donations, including one for a million dollars, apparently because of the Cable Car's uniqueness, historic value, and potential tourism. Probably TheBus has little historic value, but the question is could it use a little uniqueness to stimulate private support? P. S. The answer is not "Hawaiian me.
